My Proverbs Journal

God has always been my strong rock to run to through good times and those that were more challenging. Many of my dialogs through these times were kept in journals. When I was inspired to read the Proverbs of course I wanted to keep a journal and couldn’t find one with the format I liked so I wrote my own. That is why the “MY PROVERBS JOURNAL was written. I have always added a Touch of Joy to all who God brings into my path & in every endeavor I have stepped into and writing this book is continuing this touch.

How to use this

Proverbs Journal

  1. First begin by asking God to give you clarity and understanding as you begin to read. (I know sometimes you will read and say to yourself “what does that mean?” and know it’s ok just keep reading)
  2. January 1st read Proverbs 1. January 2nd read Proverbs 2 and so on.
  3. Under the 2023 column in January 1 box write anything that impacted you or stood out to you. Continue doing this for each day for the next 2 years.
  4. The next page titled “My Journal” enjoy writing your insights from what you read, kinda like letters from God.
  5. Repeat this same process for both 2023 and 2024
  6. Also, I suggest you purchase a copy of the book:
“The Richest Man Who Ever Lived” by Steven K Scott.
Be Sure to read it along with the Proverbs as he gives some great wisdom he learned through doing this process of reading the Proverbs for 2 years.

Gail was born in Minnesota, at age 25 she moved to California where she met her husband. The two of them made a great team while running a variety of businesses from a coffeehouse, builder, developer of homes and presently running their Jet Ski Adventure Company on the San Diego Bay. Everyplace Gail ventured she had a desire to encourage and lift up those she met.

Gail was 7 months pregnant when she, her husband and 4 year old daughter set sail across the pacific ocean for 2 years. Some areas they sailed to there was a language barrier, but Gail found a way to encourage those she met along the way, with a smile, a word or even a hug.  She loves the theater, dance, sign language, ice skating, anything that involves music… Gail Shines!!!

God has always been her strong rock through good times and those that were more challenging. Many of Gail’s dialogs through these times were kept in journals. With a strong desire to read Proverbs, of course she wanted to keep a journal and couldn’t find one with the format she liked so she wrote her own. That is why the
